Working with other team members you will work on the cutblock and field layout, ensuring that the overall design provides effective output for the logging crews. The Forest Engineer will assist in the preparation of documents and continue to learn the requirements of external administrative procedures. Where required you will occasionally interact with external stakeholders and take on more responsibility as you progress with the business. On a day to day basis you will be closely involved with the supervision of road construction and the whole logging process.

To be suitable for this role you can have either a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry or a Forestry Diploma and have at least three years of experience in forestry.  Successful candidates will have some experience in coastal operations and have worked with software programs such as Road Eng. Ideally you will be either a Registered Professional Forester or Technician and be comfortable working with a rotational schedule.
