Company Description

Our client is a nationally recognized player in the paper and pulp industry. Known for staff development and their high safety and environmental standards, they are currently in need of a First Class Power Engineer to lead in their steam facility. 

Job Description

  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment
  • Improve maintenance and reliability of equipment and techniques
  • Operate automated or computerized control systems
  • Monitor and replenish spare part levels
  • Coordinate with major projects in promoting maintainability
  • Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunction
  • Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs as required
  • Assist in the development of operation, maintenance and safety procedures

  • Proven leadership experience in a similar role
  • Strong budgeting and planning skills
  • First class Power Engineer certification

Compensation

In return you can expect:

- Total annual compensation between $110,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
