POSITION SUMMARY: This positions primary responsibilities will focus on planning, overseeing, and reporting on land management activities. Responsible for interacting with clients, supervising employees and contractors, and assisting with other related duties as needed. Occasional out of town work may be required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Includes the ability to traverse distances over one mile on uneven terrain; work in outdoor forested areas for extended periods in a variety of environmental conditions; occasionally carry 5 to 10 pounds of equipment over longer distances for extended periods of time and 50 pounds over shorter distances. Must be able to work independently during a work week and complete tasks in a timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be highly motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as with a team.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Education: Minimum two years forestry degree
- Experience: Minimum BS in Forestry from an accredited Forestry school
- Technology Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word are necessary. Experience with mixed hardwoods and a GIS is a plus.
