Timber cruising, line painting, time sale prep, mapping, timber harvest inspections, reforestation and site prep oversight, and other general forestry related duties.
We are seeking a highly motivated, self disciplined individual with strong work and business ethics.
The successful applicant must have the ability to work independently and as a team.
S/he must be well adapted to working outdoors for extended periods in all environmental conditions and cover long distances in varying terrain.
In addition, the candidate will possess the following skills, education, and experience:
- 2 or 4 year degree in forestry or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience timber cruising
- Competent verbal communication and writing skills. Experience with MS Word/Excel, cruise software, GPS, and GIS a plus.
