Canfor Pulp Limited Partnership includes the Northwood Pulp Mill, the Prince George Pulp and Paper Mill and the Intercontinental Pulp Mill in Prince George as well as the Pulp and Paper Marketing and Innovation Groups in Vancouver.
As a Maintenance Fab Shop Planner/Supervisor, you will apply your knowledge of pulp mill processes/equipment and mechanical trades to plan, schedule, co-ordinate and monitor all aspects of regular maintenance activities. Also, with safety as a first priority, you will supervise multi-trade crews engaged in project fabrication and regular maintenance work on a relief basis.
You will have, at minimum, post secondary education in a technical field or a trade qualification, preferably in the welding and pipefitting trades. Strong planning and organizational skills as well as the flexibility to handle constantly changing work priorities are essential as is computer proficiency. Supervisory experience would be an asset.
