Job Description:
Deltic Timber Corporation is seeking an entry-level forester.
Qualifications:
The position requires a bachelor's degree in forestry with 0-2 years experience. Deltic is interested in candidates who are motivated self-starters who want to make immediate contribution to the Ola, AR and Perryville, AR regions.
Job requirements include: cruise and evaluate timberland; monitor newly planted trees for quality control; check summer and fall plantations; ready sites for replanting by burning; prepare logging jobs by identifying SMZs; collect experimental plot data on specific tracts which directly affect the health & growth rates of our forests.
