Pacific BioEnergy is a leading manufacturer and internationally recognized supplier of wood pellet biomass fuel to industrial purchasers worldwide and is currently in a growth phase.
Pacific BioEnergy is looking for a skilled electrician with a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of PLC systems, VFDs, process controls and techniques to repair, modify, install and maintain the pellet producing facility in Prince George.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Able to work safely and follow all company safety policies and procedures
Electrician certification
Must have at least two (2) years industrial electrician experience
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check & physical
Able to work any shift, weekends, overtime, holidays as needed
Able to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, while wearing safety equipment
Must have demonstrated leadership and team skills
Ability to write legibly and communicate as necessary to accomplish tasks
Able to complete forklift and manlift training
Able to lift 2-20 pounds regularly, climb steps and ladders, work from heights, and stand or walk for 2-3 hours at a time for 12 hour shifts
Strong troubleshooting skills would be a definite asset
