Our client, an international forestry company in Vancouver, is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor for their operations in Northern BC. This is a leadership role with responsibility for keeping operations running smoothly, safely and maximizing the plant efficiency. Specifically your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the facility's electrical department, liaising with internal and external vendors for full implementation and continuous improvement
• Manage and coordinate maintenance and operations team in upholding business objectives promoting safety, production and cost efficiencies
• Assist with key managers in standardizing and implementing work quality standards throughout the facility
• Contribution in the organization's yearly planning
• Uphold and maintain safety standards within the plant site

The company will expect from you:

 

• 5+ years relevant experience in a similar role and industry with extensive electrical knowledge
• Red Seal certification
• Proven leadership in employee management and team building
• Strong commitment to upholding safety

Compensation

In return you can expect:

$85-91k base plus bonus and benefits depending on years of experience
