Our client is looking for an Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor for their operations.  We are looking for a natural leader responsibility for keeping operations running smoothly, safely and maximizing the plant efficiency.

Job Description:

Supervising a team of maintenance staff through daily operations with high attention to safety procedures
Ensure high quality of product output, cost effectiveness and maximized production through machinery maintenance
Trouble shoot and problem solve on an ongoing basis with the ability to prioritize tasks
Supervise, train and motivate current and new employees

This company will expect from you:

Reporting to the Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Manager, the ideal candidate will have a maintenance background as well Electrical or instrument trade certificate, a technical diploma, and/or a degree in engineering. You will also have the ability to lead and direct a team.

Other qualities include:

  • Minimum 5yrs experience in an industrial manufacturing facility with pulp and paper experience being an asset
  • Electrical or Instrument Trade Certificate
  • Expert in maintenance systems and overall manufacturing operations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Worksafe BC policy and procedure
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with maintenance scheduling software is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
