What your responsibilities would entail:

• Management and overview of projects: Set up vendors; contracts; review rates; holdbacks; review, track and record invoices. 
• Prepare contractor payroll
• Communicate with government agencies and ensure compliance for your areas of designation 
• Prepare costing and inventory reports on a regular basis
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts to the GL
• Compile and balance sales data
• Provide budgeting and forecasting support
• Ad hoc duties as required by the Management

What you need to be considered:

• Accounting/business degree or diploma. A CA, CGA or CMA would be a strong asset. 
• Advanced MS Office suite skills 
• Experience with Epicor is an asset
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
• Hands on attitude, some duties will require you to go into the yards and plants. 

Individuals coming directly from public practice will be considered having worked on forestry clients would be a great asset. 

Compensation

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
