Weyerhaeuser of Princeton is looking for a Developmental Maintenance Leader candidate with strong technical and leadership capabilities.  The successful candidate will have the ability to grow and develop as a future leader for the Company.  This position will help to develop leadership excellence, understanding and driving quality and production goals, coordinating and maintaining operational schedules and supporting the business to ensure continuous process improvement. 

The successful candidate will learn to plan, develop, manage and provide leadership of an effective Maintenance Department by identifying areas where safety and reliability issues could arise and take measures to proactively address concerns, actively communicate with a team of millwrights, electricians and multi-craft personnel and utilize preventative maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime.  

The expectation is that you will utilize your technical degree to develop programs and drive business results in a dynamic manufacturing environment.  This role will build on your technical ability and develop leadership skills to work with people and obtain results.  Within 1-3 years the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the process flow, both upstream and down, understand full capabilities of machine centers and understand the impact on other parts of the organization.  They will also be developed in leading safety, involving employees in safety efforts and holding people accountable to do the same.

Requirements:

·         BA degree in Wood Science, Wood Technology or Engineering or Business.

·         Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communications skills. 

·         Strong planning and organizational skills

·         Strong work ethic, good judgment and decision making skills.

·         Demonstrated results in achieving and sustaining business goals. 

·         Knowledge of business and financial concepts.

·         Working knowledge of lumber business, financial and labor relations concepts.

·         Demonstrated results in achieving and sustaining business goals.

·         Ability to analyze and present data.

·         Understand and work within the culture of the group.
