THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a Customer Service Intern you will assist the Customer Service Manager with routine and project tasks. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Management systems (ISO) at the three mills. This will include:

  • Data analysis for routine customer-related tasks and projects
  • Preparation of pulp samples for customers
  • Support external (compliance) audits and internal audits
  • Use established records management systems to classify, process, store, and retrieve records Quality and Environmental Management systems
  • Process incoming information and documents using appropriate technology and equipment
  • Train end-users and staff as required, including development of training collaterals
  • Calibration of QMS & EMS instrumentation in all mill areas

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideally you have graduated in the last twenty-four months with a Chemistry or Chemical Engineering degree or have a related diploma from a technical college. Industrial experience and a background in quality and/or environmental management systems would be considered assets for the position.  Familiarity with the MS Office suite of programs, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are all essential in this challenging position.
