Our client, an international forestry company, is looking for a Process Control Specialist to oversee process control and automation infrastructure in Powell River.

Job Description:

• Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of DCS and PLS software programming
• Perform programming of HMI systems, particularly for Wonderware and other equivalent systems
• Lead and support on-going training for maintenance of process control systems

The company will expect from you:

• 3-5 years experience design, programming and maintenance of process control systems
• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Instrumentation
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Commitment to safety
• Strong technical and troubleshooting aptitude
