Description
- Identification, inspection, and evaluation of trees and brush along utility lines
- Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of assigned line-clearance crews
- Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues
- Serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers
- Safeguards employees and public from hazards in and around the work area
- Helps enforce on-the-job safety practices
- Carries and utilizes materials, tools, and equipment at work site
- Services truck and equipment
- Keeps trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion
- Reports the need for equipment and truck repairs to supervisor
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned
Requirements
- A State issued Drivers License is required for this job assignment
- A clear MVR is also required
- Degree or experience in Forestry, Arboriculture, Horticulture, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Natural Resources, Conservation, or related fields
- One or more years of field related experience
- ISA Certification, or be able to obtain within one year from date of employment
