Certified Industrial Electrician (Maintenance & Trades)

We are currently seeking candidates for our Certified Industrial Electrician position. The successful candidate will be proud of his or her ability to perform safe installation, construction, modification, testing, repair and maintenance of all production equipment. In addition to a commitment to safety in all aspects, previous experience in an industrial setting as well as positive communication skills are essential.

Key duties will include:

• Support safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures
• Assess operational needs and requirements through ongoing testing and observations
• Ensure proper documentation is performed and maintained at all times
• Plan and organize effective solutions to support quality and production
• Resolve production problems in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform duties in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code

Qualifications:

• Certified Journeyman in the electrical trade
• Must demonstrate a safe work behaviours
• Positive interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Knowledge and experience in lumber manufacturing process an asset
