West Fraser is currently seeking a high caliber candidate for a permanent Business Analyst role at our head office in Quesnel, BC. As part of the Corporate Accounting group, the Business Analyst will provide analytic and strategic support to Senior Management on all issues impacting the company.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining financial models
- Detailed analysis, forecasting, and benchmarking across our various segments
- Have a key role in our month end accounting duties and systems development
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A professional accounting designation or be close to completing a program
- Strong business acumen
- Well-established organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A detailed and proactive approach to work
- A high level of motivation
- Strong computer systems skill set
- Forest industry experience is preferred but not required
