New Urban Forestry, based in Athens, Ga, is owned and managed by 3 certified arborists. We are an urban forestry and tree management team invested in our community and we are striving to realize multiple goals: to continue to provide exceptional tree and urban forestry services to our customers, to continue to innovate, educate, and participate in our community by providing urban forestry and tree management solutions, and to continue to challenge our team to develop an urban forestry company model that is unique and exceptional.
New Urban Forestry continues to focus on three programs:
1. urban forestry and tree services,
2. wood waste repurposing (in the form of mulch, compost, erosion control and storm water management, and wood products, such as lumber and furniture), and
3. Our non-profit, Athens Urban Forest Project, which will continue to grow and maintain our local urban forest while providing job skills training to area youth.
We are recruiting talented and motivated people to join our team. We currently need arborists, climbers, crew leaders, and arborist trainees who are willing to invest and partner with us as we continue to grow.
The ideal candidates will be passionate about our industry, have fantastic positive attitudes, be great team players and leaders, and will have an interest in a long-term career position that will evolve over time.

Positive Attitude, desire to be challenged, ability to perform strenuous physical work in challenging conditions, ability to work well with others, leadership traits, safety focused, and desire to be awesome.
Compensation
$8.00--25.00/ hr based on experience.
