Position: Account Manager – Forestry and Manufacturing

Impact Recruitment is excited to announce the addition of a new position in our corporate structure. The Account Manager – Forestry and Manufacturing is responsible for maintaining existing business relationships with our top clients in the industry, as an Account Manager, your goal is to foster growth within those established clients and ensure our relationship continues to develop.  
This position is well suited to an Account Management professional with strong business development and client management skills, as well as a team oriented outlook. As an Account Manager, you will work with key accounts in the Forestry and Manufacturing industries, as well as our business development and recruitment teams. You will be working not only to maintain existing relationships, but to assist in the growth of new relationships that have recently partnered with Impact Recruitment. 
The clients you will work with include large companies in the Forestry and Wood Products Industry, as well as various Manufacturing based companies that range from mid-sized businesses to multinational corporations.  
About the Role
As an Account Manager, your role will include: 
Client Relationship Management
Working closely with long-term accounts generated by the Business Development team, you will be responsible for maintaining contact with these clients, ensuring that you are constantly aware of their current and upcoming needs. Additionally, you will further develop relationships within these organizations by connecting with additional management level contacts within each company. 
Warm Business Development
You will accompany the business development team members to meetings with every client in order to understand their business and operations.  
Recruitment Project Management
You will work closely with the Recruitment Team to review and submit candidates to your Forestry and Manufacturing clients, and you will work with all parties from the beginning of the engagement, until the placement is completed.  
Relationship and Industry based Business Development
Your presence is important in the business community – especially the Forestry and Manufacturing business arenas. As a result, you will attend and sponsor events, and get to know your clients as a member of their associations and professional organizations.  
What Are We Looking For?
We are searching for a people person. Someone who enjoys establishing and maintaining strong relationships with their clients, and is an intuitive person by nature. Additionally, we are looking for someone with excellent business development skills – someone who can see great opportunities and capitalize on them by offering value to our clients. 
To be considered a fit for this role, you should have the following skills and experience: 
- Minimum 2 years of Business Development and/or Account Management experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Forestry or Manufacturing industries
- Completion of a post-secondary education
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Additional assets include:
- Experience with service based sales in the Forestry or Manufacturing industry
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Any previous experience in the Recruitment Industry

Compensation

How Will You Be Compensated?
Impact Recruitment offers a competitive base salary, as well as an industry leading commission plan. You will earn bonuses/commission on every placement you make, and you will also have the opportunity to grow into a business development or Account Executive role. First year on-target earnings for this position are $80,000 - $90,000 per annum, and with uncapped commission there is easily the potential to earn significantly more.
