ABOUT THE ROLE

 The Operations role is one that requires all individuals to be able to work in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment. Operations/Warehouse staff are responsible for the safe operation of the equipment, fulfilling orders in a timely and efficient manner, and ensuring products are stacked and stored safely.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Loading, unloading, moving and stacking product using a forklift
• Efficiently stacking and storing products in the appropriate areas
• Pulling and preparing (forklift and manual sorting, pulling, picking) orders for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
• Keying updated inventory into the ERP system
• Adhering to all safety procedures
• Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the warehouse and equipment

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous forklift experience is required
• Previous warehouse experience is an asset
• Lumber or panel experience is an asset
• Basic math skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift, pull, push approximately 75lbs repetitively and safely
