Sure Shot Environmental Ltd. is a company based out of Central Alberta servicing customers in both the Utility and Oil & Gas Industries throughout Alberta.  The company specializes in Utility Patrolling and Consenting, Quality Audits and Inspections, Herbicide Applications and Environmental Site Assessments. 

We are hiring for 2 positions in NW and SE Alberta: Utility Field Assistant and Utility Consultant.

Position One:  Utility Field Assistant 

Description:

This is a full / part time position as a Utility Field Assistant. This position will involve assisting the utility patroller on cross country right of way patrols conducting vegetation assessments using ATVs, UTVs or Snowmobiles. The applicants will be required to work on the road outdoors. Although we are willing to train for the position, all or some of the listed qualifications below are considered an asset and will reflect on a starting day rate.

· $50 per year allowance for CSA approved steel toed boots

Qualifications:

· Past Experience/education in environmental, arboricultural, forestry and reclamation fields an asset

· Valid class 5 drivers license with safe driving record

· Tickets including Standard First Aid with CPR, CSTS, H2S and ATV / UTV / Snowmobile Training

·  An understanding of Alberta Legal Land Descriptions

·  Tree identification abilities an asset

·  Organized, legible writing, self-motivation, team player, positive attitude and leadership abilities

· Computer knowledge an asset

· Able to work comfortably outdoors in isolated areas.

Position Two:  Utility Consultant 

Description:

This is a full time position as a Utility Patroller/Consenter conducting vegetation assessments and landowner consultations.  Applicants will be required to work on the road but shifts can be flexible.  Although we are willing to train for the position all or some of the below listed qualifications are considered an asset and will reflect on a starting day rate.
