Burley Boys Tree Service Ltd., located at 737 Burley Drive in West Vancouver, BC is seeking a Tree Service Supervisor.
Employment Location: Various jobs sites in the Greater Vancouver area and along the Sea-to-Sky corridor
Job Duties:
The Tree Service Supervisor will be responsible for:
• Operating & managing satellite office;
• Customer service, including meeting with clients, preparing quotations & contracts and following up leads;
• Recruiting, managing, and training staff;
• Ensuring safety protocol is followed;
• Preparing applications for covenant work;
• All aspects of arbor care including: pruning, windowing, precision falling & bucking, cabling & bracing, tree identification, risk mitigation, heavy rigging, craning, arborist reports;
• Performing large hedging working using bucket trucks and/or tall ladders;
• Maintaining and servicing chainsaws and other equipment;
• May perform the same duties as lead climbers/arborists.
Job Requirements:
• ISA Certification or International equivalent
• Minimum 3 years tree climbing experience
• Experience in supervising in tree service capacity or related
• Proficient in word processing, data entry & basic computer & internet skills
• Read/Write/ Speak English
Forest fuel reduction experience and Invasive Plant Management and/or Pesticide/Fertilizer application experience will be considered an asset.
Compensation
Salary: $32.00/HourlyJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentBenefits: 4% accrued vacation, extended medical after three months
