Job Description:
Timberlands Pacific Pty Ltd is seeking to appoint a Tree Crop Forester based at its office in Mount Gambier, South Australia. The role will provide additional capacity to a small team managing a range of forest growing activities.

Key tasks within this role include:

• Planning for all Establishment, silvicultural, Protection (including Fire) and Security of the forest Estate;
• Assistance with preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and reporting;
• Environmental, health and safety compliance monitoring;
• Ensure that the productivity and quality of the forest estate is continuously improved through the application of modern and innovative forestry practices on a site specific basis.

Preference will be given to applicants with the following:

• A tertiary qualification in forestry or similar;
• Field supervisory experience in Tree Crop activities;
• Experience in collection and analysis of data;
• Competent user of computer database systems and spreadsheets;
  Effective organisational, time management, communication and people skills.
