Responsibilities
Lead a 2 person cruise party to successfully bush navigate and collect forest ecosite data to meet inventory specifications and production targets. Responsibly use company equipment. Work safely in isolated and remote conditions.
Skills & qualifications
- Completed or enrolled in recognized forestry technical or Bachelor of Science program.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic & dependable even in adverse weather.
- Skilled with map, air photo, compass, GPS, computer, software & PDAs.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record is an asset.
- First aid certificate, pleasure craft operator's license, ATV, boating, canoeing & backcountry travel experience.

Responsibilities
Provide data recording and measurement support for cruise party under direction of Timber Cruiser. Work safely in isolated and remote conditions. Responsibly use company equipment.

- Sufficient skill with computer, software & hand held PDAs.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Enrolled in forestry technical, Bachelor of Science or related program is an asset.

- First aid certificate, pleasure craft operator's license, ATV, boating, canoeing & backcountry travel experience are assets.
Timber Cruisers and Tallies available in 3 and 4 month positions starting in late May.
