Steigerwaldt Land Services, Inc. is currently looking to fill one full-time Survey Technician / Field Surveyor position in the Tomahawk office. This is considered an entry-level position, though previous professional experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:
- Associate degree in Surveying, Civil Technician, or a related field is ideal, but other backgrounds would be considered
- Desire to develop a career in a fast-paced and diverse consulting business, with future opportunities for professional advancement
- Ability to work independently in varied settings, both in the field and office with other professionals
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of RTK GPS and robotic total station equipment applications is desired
- Competent with Microsoft Office software
- Ability to travel and conduct overnight work away from home from time to time
- Current valid driver’s license
- Interest in involvement in professional organizations to further education and develop working relationships with other professionals
- A team player who is respectful, flexible, curious, and self-confident
Compensation
Following the successful completion of a probationary period, full-time employees receive a full benefit package including health insurance, vacation, paid holidays, 401k, and profit sharing. Salaries commensurate with experience.
