About Us:

Strategic Natural Resource Consultants was established in 2003 and has since become one of the most highly regarded natural resource consulting firms on the West Coast.

With offices in Port McNeill, Campbell River, Port Alberni, Nanaimo, Duncan and Prince George our personnel are industry leaders in resource and land management, professional forestry, construction support services, environmental sciences, geomatics & GIS, and remote site project development.

What We Need From You:

- The ability and commitment to go to camp when needed, and flexibility with changing schedules. Some camp shifts may be 10 days on; 4 days off.

- A positive attitude along with mental and physical toughness to get the job done.

- A commitment to working the entire summer (except for weekends and holidays) from May 1st to August 25th, unless discussed prior to the 2019 summer program start.

- Ability to participate in constructive feedback

- Punctuality and preparation… Be ready to go each day with all required working gear (we will outline what will be provided to you at time of hire)

- Obtain your own accommodations in the location of the office you will be working out of (we love to help and support in this)

- Willingness to train and work on our wildland firefighting crew during the summer. Firefighting may require longer days and shifts (17 days at max.)

Our Goal: To have students that will return the following summer and eventually hire on full-time with us once school is completed.
