ANC is currently recruiting for the leadership role of Project Engineer. Reporting directly to the Mechanical Superintendent and managing a team of three, the new Project Engineer will oversee all aspects of the mill’s capital and engineering projects. He/she will ensure ANC delivers all projects in a costly, timely, safe and environmentally compliant matter. In doing so, the Project Engineer will provide strong and effective leadership to the Consultants and Contractors and work collaboratively with the other members of the maintenance team and the operations team.

The ideal candidate will bring a track record of success in a project engineering role in a fast-paced, capital-intensive production environment—ideally in oil and gas, mining, manufacturing, or forest products environment. Specific expertise in electrical, mechanical and piping equipment will be required. He/she will have a demonstrated history of commitment to safety and of building a strong and supportive relationship with operations.

This position will be based in beautiful Whitecourt, AB.
