Job Summary:

This role is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and driving the Panel Board business, including rebuilds, upgrades, automation, and spare parts. The role includes commercial, technical and selling leadership including an ongoing analysis of the Andritz market position in each of these areas and requires the aggressive employment of innovation and optimization in all facets of the business.

Job Duties:

·        Plan, direct and evaluate various aspects of the Product Line: its growth, continuous differentiation and optimization, provide direction for equipment repair technology, management and direction of support staff;

·        Determine strategic planning to drive the Panel Board business;

·        Maintain established and new customer relations; develop customer confidence & customer relianceon Andritz as a resource for technical expertise;

·        Develop Andritz as an extension of the mill resources, accumulate mill operating and maintenance data to guide our efforts in gaining business;

·        Direct and interact with Automation and Upgrade/Optimization groups, and Global Product Group;

·        Prepare an annual budget in partnership with the Product Director;

·        Organize, develop and evaluate the marketing/promotion plan and structure, and coordinate marketing efforts;

·        Lead teams to develop and execute key account plans, and update on an annual basis;

·        Prepare and deliver training courses & materials, and articles for various publications;

·        Oversee product selection based on application;

·        Participate in system optimization, and start-up as required. 

Job Requirements:

·        A university degree or college diploma in business, sales or in a related field;

·        Minimum 5 years’ management experience within pulp and paper and panel board industries;

·        Minimum 5 years’ experience in mill production operations and Refiners & Digesters focused on Pulp and Paper and Panel Board industry;

·        Experience with Andritz Refiners and Digesters is considered an asset;

·        Strong ability to develop, implement, and evaluate marketing plans and strategies;

·        Ability to speak, read and write in German is considered an asset, but is not a requirement of the job;

·        Extensive knowledge of equipment used in the Pulp and Paper and Panel Board Industries;

·        Start-up experience, equipment trouble shooting / rebuild and process knowledge are necessary

Compensation

Salary: CDN $90,000-$120,000
