We are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer, with Sawmill or Mining, material handling experience, and with strong management working experience, for an engineering company that is located in North Vancouver, BC.
Our company is a multi-discipline consulting engineering company that specializes in Sawmills, and material handling projects. A complete engineering package includes conceptual design, capital cost estimates, project management, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process control.
Our company has established a broad client base across North America that utilizes our services on an ongoing basis. Past projects include Sawmill / Planer-mill complexes, complete Sawmill upgrades, new or upgraded Log In-feed systems, Whole Log chipping facilities, Wood Room upgrades and Machine Centre replacement. With a strong expertise in developing material handling and mill flow design which exploit the advantages of high technology machinery & obtain the highest production rates and recovery.
You must be a registered Structural Engineer, and member of APEGBC, with 10 years plus of management working experience, in the material handling industry.
Salary is open depending on experience, plus benefits.
