Halo Sawmill is hiring 6 Sawmill Workers in Pitt Meadows, BC.

A custom cut sawmill business is seeking responsible energetic candidates that want to work in a team environment with opportunities for growth and development.  

Entry level work involves pulling and piling heavy lumber in an external environment.  

Successful candidates must be in excellent physical condition, have a strong work ethic, consistent attendance, be self motivated, be safety conscious and demonstrate effective communication skills.  

These opportunities all involve Monday to Friday shift work. Day shift 7:am - 3:30 pm and Afternoon shift 4:00 pm - 12:30 am. The shifts rotate every 2 weeks.

Compensation

The hourly rate is $23 after a 3 month probationary period.

Based on past history, employees have advanced (within a couple years) to positions within the sawmill at significantly higher pay rates ($27 plus).
