A custom cut sawmill business located in Pitt Meadows, is seeking responsible energetic Students that want to work in a team environment with opportunities for growth and development.  Entry level work involves pulling and piling heavy lumber in an external environment.   Successful candidates must have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, be safety conscious and demonstrate effective communication skills.  The opportunities involve working mutually agreeable shifts that do not conflict with your school schedule. Working Friday afternoon shift 4 pm to 12:30 am is an example of a shift that usually does not conflict with a student’s schedule.

The hourly rate is $16 starting (training rate). Higher starting rates will apply to experienced persons. Your hourly rate will increase as your competency increases.

Our objective is to have persons trained to work during the high vacation periods such as Spring break and Summer.

Compensation

Salary: $16.00 - $23.00/Hourly
