One of Canada’s best regarded forest products manufacturers has an immediate opportunity for a Sawmill Superintendent.  Reporting to the Mill Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing activities relating to the sawmill from log storage up to the planer mill.  This large log mill is currently undergoing a $25 million refit.

The primary responsibility will be to provide leadership and direction to the operations’ supervisory personnel.  Additionally, you will assist the Mill Manager in meeting the established safety, environmental and production objectives of the operation.

Candidates will bring an exceptional safety record and an extensive background in sawmilling and lumber processing.  Relevant post-secondary education is preferred.
