GROWTH OPPORTUNITES:
At least one of these roles reports in to a plant manager who is operating on a long-term contract. That means that when his contract is up there is direct succession to managing the whole plant. Being a multi-location organization, there is also room to move laterally as the company’s needs change plant by plant.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As the production superintendent, you are responsible for all the staff on the production side, their targets and KPIs, their work hours, the department budgeting and scheduling. You’ll work with sales, maintenance, and the plant manager to improve production, create new processes and procedures and most importantly, maintain the safety of the team. 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
10 years as a production manager or superintendent
                Must be in a sawmill setting
Strong mentor and coaching leadership style
High priority on safety
                Demonstrated track record for improvement and initiatives
Previous experience in a maintenance role is a huge asset

Compensation

Salary: $110,000 – $115,000+

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The salary for this role is not completely set. It can vary by experience and what you bring to the table. The target range is $110-$120K ideally.
