Pride Manufacturing Company, LLC, a progressive wood-products manufacturing company, producer of golf tees, cigar tips, Lincoln Logs, and commercial flooring lumber, located in Burnham, Maine is searching for Sawmill personnel. The ideal candidates will be able to meet or exceed production, safety and quality goals and will have excellent attendance.

Our Sawmill is an indoor environment. These positions will work Monday through Thursday with overtime on some Fridays as needed for production requirements. Hours would either be 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Physical requirements are the ability to stand and walk for 10 hour shifts and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

PAY and BENEFITS (Benefits available for full time employees only)

Pay: the lowest paying position (other than students under 18) starts out at $11.87 an hour.

Health insurance: 3 plans to choose from - $500 deductible per person per year with weekly premiums ranging from $54.91 to $171.42 depending on family status and smoking status; $1,000 deductible per person per year with weekly premiums ranging from $40.27 to $116.02 depending on family status and smoking status; and our most popular plan is the $1,500 deductible per person per year with office visit co-pays of $35/$45 with weekly premiums ranging from $23.84 to $69.70 depending on family status and smoking status.

401K - Pride matches 50% up to 6% of each employee's weekly contribution into the 401K plan. We now are offering a Roth option in the 401K plan.
