Sawmill Manager / Head Sawyer (Management & Executives)

Pacheedaht Forestry Ltd. is looking for someone to Manage the day to day operations of our brand new sawmill in Port Renfrew BC.

They must have a minimum of 5 years experience milling as they will also be Head Sawyer on one of the two head rigs. They will report directly to the operations manager. The successful applicant needs to know all the basics of all jobs required to Operate a Sawmill and Manage its employees.

Wage will be determined on experience, dedication, and ability to make our mill profitable.

The successful applicant will work with and train Band Members from PFN and will start by managing 5 to 8 employees.

This is a very exciting time for PFL as we are continuing to grow and need the right people to bee part of our management team.

The mill is comprised of:  WM1000. LD70, WM## edger with capacity of milling 9000 m3 to 2 million bdf. A 3 phase generator and a small log yard. All milling equipment is within a mill building.
