Silver Creek Premium Products Ltd is a shake and shingle mill located in Mission, BC along the beautiful Fraser River.  We have been in operation for over 25 years and over the years we have taken great pride in being energy efficient.  Currently we are world renown for using the most technologically advanced equipment.  Along with great technology we take great pride in ensuring our customers receive great service and on time products.  Due to these commitments we need to add to our current sawmill labour staff. 

We are looking to hire 10 sawmill labourers ASAP. 

As a sawmill labourer you will be responsible for:

• Organizing, sorting, transporting and piling lumber to the correct areas of the sawmill manually or using powered equipment
• Clean and remove any scrap lumber manually or with powered equipment to always ensure a safe working environment for the other staff and yourself
• Feed conveyors, saws, and other equipment to process lumber, shingles, and shakes
• Clean the sawmill processing machines and equipment and work areas using shovels, hoses and other tools
• Assist other wood processing workers to operate, maintain and repair various machines and equipment and carry out other wood processing activities as requested by the sawmill supervisor.

Location of work is 7250 Nelson St, Mission, BC.

Compensation

Wage for the position is $11.50 per hour starting with excellent opportunities for growth.

Overtime is paid after 40 hours of work per week.
