Saw Filers (Maintenance & Trades)

Babine Forest Products, located 21 kilometers east of Burns Lake British Columbia, is looking for a ticketed, certified Saw Filer, OR an apprentice that has completed at least Level 1 theory of the Saw Filer program, coupled with 1500 to 2000 work based training hours.

There are 2 permanent positions available and the successful candidates must be able to work all of the required shifts. 7am to 3pm, 9am to 5pm, 3pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am.

Babine is a unionized work place and adheres to the pay scale based on the current contract with USW Local 1-424. It is also located on First Nation land, which allows First Nation employees an exemption from income tax deductions.

Compensation

Salary: $33.86/Hourly
