Receptionist / Accounting Administrator for a Coquitlam-based cedar wholesaler. 

Still Creek Forest Products Ltd. is a mid-sized company established in 1978.  We are looking to fill a full-time, permanent position.  We value intelligence and enthusiasm over experience,  although prior experience in accounting and lumber business would be an asset.  This is a salaried position that includes medical and dental benefits, as well as year-end profit sharing.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • answering telephone
  • reception
  • accounts receivable, including daily bank deposits
  • word processing, speadsheets and data entry
  • general office administration and filing
  • organizing company social events

MUST HAVE:

  • good customer service skills
  • pleasant phone manner, pleasant disposition
  • clear handwriting
  • good attention to detail
  • fluency in English (spoken and written)

SHOULD BE:

  • confident with numbers and minor calculations
  • quick to learn and multitask
  • responsible, reliable and mature
  • familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

ASSETS:

  • to have basic knowledge of accounting practices
  • to have some office experience
  • to have some knowledge of lumber industry

Compensation

Salary: $14.00/Hourly
