Job Description:
- The management of all aspects of the fiber manufacturing processes to include safety, quality, environmental, production, cost, and people resources to achieve or exceed targeted performance levels;
- Coordinating activities with other departments to improve mill performance & maximize profitability;
- Establishing systems for tracking and managing operational expenses and performance.
- This position will work with other leaders in the area to develop a high performance team.
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree required. (Chemical Engineering preferred)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing a Pulp Mill and Bleach Plant operations
- Demonstrated record of safety commitment and results
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to groups and individuals at all levels
- Understanding of lean manufacturing tools and their application in driving deliberate improvement initiatives.
