Woodford Forestry Services Inc. is a growing company operating in the Okanagan and Shuswap areas. Enderby is centrally located between Vernon and Salmon Arm on the Shuswap River. We are looking to fill the following position to continue company growth while providing high quality services to our clients:

Project Manager:

• This is a field oriented position, providing high quality and efficient timber development.

• The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a safe work attitude.

• Take a lead role in layout and recce projects and client interaction.

• Perform crew supervision and quality assurance.

• Summarize and prepare high quality deliverables to client expectations and specifications.

• A minimum of Five years experience working in timber development.

• Sound knowledge of cable and conventional harvesting practices.

• Registered with the ABCFP.

• Ability to work independently and in crew environment with a willingness to mentor junior staff.

Required Skills:

• Road and cut block layout experience, cable harvesting layout in mountainous terrain.

• Stand evaluation, log product and volume estimation skills.

• Road traversing and appraisal data collection and compilation.

• Stream classification.

• Site plan data collection and compilation.

• Timber Cruising experience an asset.

• Excellent computer, writing, and communication skills.
