Production Supervisors - Mill - 2 positions available.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Superintendent, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for the overall results (production, quality, safety) of a shift, ensuring safety and quality standards are met at all times.

The Production Supervisor will gain experience in both the Sawmill and the Planermill setting as required by the business.

The selected candidate will possess the following:

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Committed to top performance in a safe work environment

• Demonstrated ability to lead a team

• Available to work flexible hours

• A technical, mechanical or forestry related post-secondary education is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Supervising a production team

• Scheduling personnel

• Submitting weekly payroll

• Training and developing new employees

• Ensuring safety standards are met.

Lodging and car-pooling options are available if necessary.
