Required skills and experience include:

• Prior experience as a supervisor in a softwood lumber sawmill
• Broad maintenance experience in a sawmill environment
• Extensive background in safety
• Quality-control experience
• Excellent team-building and motivational skills
• Understanding of accounting and financial metrics for a sawmill operation
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good computer skills

Other requirements include:

• SPIB or TPI Grading Certification would be a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Relocation is negotiable
