Operations Superintendent - Sawmill (Management & Executives)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position reports directly into the Plant Manager, and helps administer the long range and medium range goals of the business. They oversee the production staff and supervisors, work with capital and safety improvement initiatives, assist with the budgeting and production planning and ensure the mill meeting optimal production targets. Decisions regarding staffing levels and assignments will also fall under the scope of responsibility
                                                                                                  
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
   • An outstanding safety track record
   • Several years of progressive experience in a sawmill Supervisory role or wood products manufacturing      
   • Extensive manufacturing and production leadership experience
   • Technical knowledge of the forest products industry
   • Experience with continuous improvement and capital projects
   • Ability to relocate to Central BC 

Compensation

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This role offers excellent earning potential from $105,000 to $120,000 commensurate with experience for the right experience and leadership qualities. Also included are outstanding benefits, retirement contributions, a chance to lead one of the best production facilities in the province and more.
