We are seeking an individual who has the qualifications, interest, and desire to join our Timber Department as an Operations Forester, at our Marienville, PA division.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Review Available Timber Sales.
- Prepare Available Timber Sales for Harvest.
- Coordinate and Supervise Harvesting and Hauling Operations, in full capacity.
- Coordinate and Supervise Timber Sale Retirement.
- Assist Procurement Manager, Procurement Foresters, Land Manager, and Log Yard as necessary.
The Requirements:
Personality: Upbeat, energetic personality encouraged!
- Communications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Multi-tasking & Follow-through: The ability to keep track of multiple priorities and tasks, and see them through to completion is crucial.
- Vaild driver’s license.
Education:
Preferred: Associates / Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry or Forestry Management and/ or 2 – 5 years of professional experience.
Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
