Moulder Operator - Softwood

Custom wood processing plant is looking for an experienced Moulder Operator that can process softwood on a modern through feed moulder. Duties include selecting and grinding tooling to standard patterns, planning and completing setup change overs for new production runs and monitoring/running production in this modern semi-automated plant.

You must have a solid record as a a moulder operator, performing setups on your own and not just feeding, to be considered for this position. Some basic machine maintenance skills are need to keep our machine in proper working order. A background in softwood production at higher feeds speeds is preferred.  

This is a full time, permanent DAY SHIFT position with a competitive hourly wage. 

The pay rate for this job will be adjusted to the level of skills you have and responsibility you can handle. 

If you have machine repair and fabrications skills (which can be of great value in keeping our operation running) that is attractive and will be accounted for in the pay rate offered. If you have some supervisory experience (as a lead hand etc.) that will be looked at as well.

The plant is located in the East Fraser Valley with easy access to Highway 1.

Compensation

$24.00 - $29.50/Hourly
