Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
• Develop, plan and execute capital and major maintenance projects in support of the companies sustaining and improvement plans.
• Provide mechanical engineering expertise and technical support to operations and maintenance customers as required.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously
• Supervise contract employers
• Liaise with outside Consulting Engineers for project development and problem resolution as required
• Use MS Project for project and/or shutdown planning and scheduling purposes.
• Prepare and revise drawings using AutoCAD
Requirements:
– Mechanical Engineer Degree
– P Eng designation preferred, or be eligible for registration with APENB
– Have minimum 4 years of experience in an industrial environment
– Have excellent verbal communications, organizational and time management skills
– Be able to work effectively individually or within a team environment
– Be prepared to provide engineering assistance to other plants located in the East
