Job Description

The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment has an exciting management opportunity in the Forest Service Branch located in Prince Albert.  As the Manager of Forest Inventory and Data you will support the sustainable growth of Saskatchewan’s forest sector by leading the development and implementation of provincial forest inventories, growth and yield studies, ecosystem modeling analyses, and the stewardship of related geospatial resource information. You will ensure that these programs support the Ministry’s shift to a more results-based, service-oriented, regulatory approach to attaining desired forest management outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a graduate degree in Forestry, Resource Management or related field as well as significant demonstrated leadership experience managing and supervising staff.
