Job Description:

• Assist landowners with design and implementation of forest management plans.
• Timber harvest planning, setup and marketing.
• Timber harvest inspections.
• Invasive species identification and control.
• Prescribed burning.
• GIS mapping with ArcMap
• Timber inventory design and implementation.
• All aspects of forestry field work.

Required Experience:

Prefer a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in forestry. Degree from an accredited forestry program. 

Job Skills:

Knowledge of GIS software and Solo Forest. Knowing of common silvicultural practices throughout Alabama in regards to various landowner objectives. Must
be self-motivated and willing to take on responsibility.
