Maintenance Supervisor (Maintenance & Trades)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a passionate member of the maintenance department; the Maintenance Supervisor leads, coaches and trains maintenance team members.   All Supervisors are expected to actively engage team members while building effective working relationships with all employees to meet costs, budgets and productions targets in a safe manner always.

• Effectively manages direct reports within a team environment
• Plans daily, weekly and monthly maintenance functions
• Develops and maintains preventative maintenance program
• Knowledge or experience working with CMMS is an asset
• Readily adapts to changing internal and external business conditions

REQUIREMENTS:

• Mechanical Engineer degree considered ideal
• Certified Red Seal Millwright
• Previous experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing (lumber, plywood, veneer, OSB)
• 2+ years' supervising a team of ten or more trades people
• Must be willing to work various shifts including nights
