Our client is a private forest products company with Pulp, Paper and Lumber manufacturing plants. Their primary lumber mill is a softwood lumber mill in New Brunswick that produces dimension lumber and studs for residential and commercial construction applications. With approximately 200 employees, its capacity is around 150MMfbm)

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This company is currently seeking the talents of a Maintenance Planner and Supervisor.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position will be responsible for setting up and managing the maintenance planning, and also manage a crew of tradespeople who perform the maintenance duties (Millwrights, Electricians, saw filers, etc.)

EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:

At least 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Planner/Supervisor in the forest products industry. If not in forest products, other industry experience of potential interest to the client includes construction materials manufacturing, materials handling or other similar heavy industry.

EDUCATION:

Trades certification or Engineering Diploma/Degree.
