Kiwi Lumber Group is an independently owned, progressive sawmilling company with sawmills in Masterton, Dannevirke and Putaruru. The company sells into the New Zealand, US, Australian, European and Asian markets. Kiwi Lumber employs over 200 people across three sites. 

There is an opportunity for a dedicated maintenance engineer at our Dannevirke site. You would report to the Engineering Team Leader. 

The primary objectives of the position are:

• Fabrication for new projects
• Breakdown maintenance
• Working on continuous improvement
• Preventative maintenance 

The successful applicant would have the following qualities:

• Relevant maintenance experience (fitting and welding)
• To be reliable and have a positive and committed approach
• A team player who is able to manage multiple tasks and see projects through to completion 

Trade certificate qualification is preferred but is not essential.
